Welcome to the Mason Early Childhood Center (MECC)

It is our privilege to welcome you to the Mason Early Childhood Center.  MECC serves Mason City Schools’ students in preschool, kindergarten, first grade and second grade. This setting provides a unique opportunity to meet the needs of every child based upon sound, developmentally appropriate practices and a wide variety of instructional programs.  MECC is committed to creating a welcoming culture and inclusive environment that reflects and supports the diversity of our students, their families and community.

The MECC staff encourages parents to become actively involved in their child’s school experience.  We believe that when the home and school work together as collaborative partners, we can achieve shared goals for our children.
